In May, do what you please!
Sologne in May...
After this confined start to spring, I really want to show you my Sologne.
Between Orléanais, Beauce to the north and Berry further south, there is a small green and secret triangle: Sologne. A poor and sandy land, but rich in forests, ponds, brooms... a land rich in its fauna, its castles, its history, its river La Loire (the longest in France).
It is in the hollow of this triangle that we have set up our little shop, very close to the Château de Cheverny which is worth your visit. Cheverny is a Château, of course, with its magnificent gardens, the Tintin museum, its pack of dogs, its forest, its golf course... but it is also a lovely little village, a 12th century church, with its typical chatterbox, pretty shops with preserved shop fronts, a small paved square...
Opposite our shop there is a bar restaurant with a terrace where I dream of sitting while waiting for you. A little further a creperie, grocery store with all the delicious products of our region. And to complete the picture a house of wines, the winegrowers of Cheverny have come together to offer you a tasting of pure wonders of our wine region.
It smells of the provinces, the great outdoors, and the history of our little village!
The Vivre côté Sologne shop HERE
These are two symbolic animals of Sologne that inspired me this capsule collection that you will discover exclusively at the Cheverny boutique "Vivre côté Sologne", the Deer and the Fox. These creations will be in our boutique from mid-May but also by message on Facebook and Instagram .
The printed linen is ready to be cut and sewn to make placemats, tea towels, pouches and small cushions.
