A drop of water in an ocean of urgency...

Lulu the Polar Bear

polar bear drawing odile laresche animal painter sologne There are encounters at exhibitions that make you think... At a show in Gambais last year, I fell for a porcelain sculpture by Sophie Larroche, a polar bear on its wooden iceberg cube with the evocative title "What's left?"...

We often ask ourselves what we can do for a cause that is close to our hearts. Sophie was able to touch my heart on the disappearance of these noble animals and put me in touch with the AVES France association which works for the survival of the polar bear. In general I only paint and draw our European animals and mainly those from my region, but for this cause here I am launching myself to draw my polar bear (yes Lulu the white bear that I presented to you in October) and to decline it in cushions, lamps and pouches

I am happy to offer you my collection "bears on the ice floe" (while it still exists) of which 10% of the amount of sales will be donated to the AVES association for the protection of polar bears. A drop of water in this ocean of emergency...
