This little horse from the North blown by the wind.
I used "earth" paints to highlight this large Pony , mixed with linen canvas for a very natural effect.

I painted this little horse inspired by an image from my friend Karine Descamps , an extraordinary photographer who lives in the north of France.
They were introduced to the Platier d'Oye with Highland cows to bring life to these wild spaces, polder, between land and sea.
As a former horsewoman, painting horses , discovering all their complexity and transcribing it onto canvas is a challenge for me that I am happy to take on through this painting.
It is in the heart of Sologne that I set up my workshop. The animals that surround me, nature are my main sources of inspiration.

I receive my printed fabrics in my workshop in rolls. I cut out the cushions, the pockets... and I sew them myself.
Pour une matière noble et authentique telle que le lin, l’entretien est très simple.
Lavage à la main ou en machine à 30°, avec une lessive neutre.
Essorage modéré pour éviter les plis, séchage naturel (le séchage en tambour ménager est possible mais déconseillé) et repassage humide sur l’envers conservent toutes ses qualités à cette fibre longue sans boulochage ni déformation, voire l’embellissent avec l’âge et accentuent sa douceur au fil des lavages.
